Do you experience episodes of an irregular pulse or have been diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation?

Atrial Fibrillation (AF) is the most common arrhythmia or heart rhythm disturbance. It occurs when chaotic electrical activity develops in the upper chambers of the heart (the atria) and results in an irregular pulse.

AF can cause symptoms such as palpitations, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, light-headedness, fainting or fatigue. However, AF can also have no symptoms so an individual may be unaware of the problem. Even so, in all situations, AF needs to be assessed by a doctor.

The easiest way to detect Atrial Fibrillation is to ‘Feel the Pulse!’
